Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (KJV) For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

Devotional: The apostle Paul provides a compelling example of adaptability and commitment. He was willing to become all things to all people for the sake of the gospel. Our commitment to Christ should be no less. Commitment involves consistency and tenacity in pursuing a relationship with God. Just as a runner dedicates time and effort to training, we must be diligent in our spiritual walk.

Reflection: Consider how committed you are to your spiritual training. Are there areas where you have allowed slackness to take over? What changes can you make to redirect your focus on God?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, instill in me a strong commitment to Your Word and work. Let my actions reflect my faith in You. Guide me to be consistent in my pursuit of holiness and service. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action: Identify one area in your spiritual life that needs more commitment, such as prayer, Bible study, or church participation. Begin today implementing a plan to strengthen that area.
