Devotional
Satan loves to remind believers of their past. He whispers, “You are not enough. You have failed too much. You are still the same person.” But God’s Word declares something greater: if you are in Christ, you are a new creature.
Your past may be real, but it is not your master. Your failures may have happened, but they do not define you. Jesus Christ has redeemed you, changed you, and reconciled you to God. You do not live where you used to live spiritually. You belong to Christ now.
The Christian life is not pretending we never sinned. It is rejoicing that Jesus has made us new. We are no longer slaves to sin, shame, or Satan’s accusations. The victory belongs to Christ, and if you are in Him, you share in that victory.

- What part of my past does Satan use most often to discourage me?
- Do I live like I have been made new in Christ?
- How can I remind myself today that I belong to Jesus?
Prayer
Father, thank You for making me new through Jesus Christ. Help me stop living under the accusations of the enemy. Remind me that old things are passed away and all things are become new. Help me walk in the freedom You have given me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
