Freedom is often misunderstood as the absence of any constraints. However, this misconception can lead to enslavement by sin. Biblical freedom is becoming a servant of righteousness through Jesus Christ, releasing us from the bondage of sin. Our true liberation comes not from doing what we please, but from following God’s path of righteousness.

Consider the areas of your life where you have sought freedom outside of God’s design. Are there habits or behaviors you need to surrender to God to experience true freedom?

Heavenly Father, thank You for freeing me from the chains of sin and enabling me to walk in righteousness. Help me to understand what true freedom means and guide me to live according to Your will. Amen.
