Scripture Reading: John 6:11 KJV

“And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.”

Devotional

The little boy did not have much. Five barley loaves and two small fishes were not impressive. But he made them available to Jesus.

Sometimes we think, “My life is not important. My testimony is not powerful. My gifts are not great. My resources are too small.” But God is not asking you to be impressive. He is asking you to be available.

The miracle did not happen because the lunch was large. The miracle happened because Jesus blessed it and used it.

Your time, your words, your kindness, your testimony, your giving, your service—these may seem small to you. But when surrendered to Christ, they can become part of something far greater than you imagined.

Reflection

What is one “small” thing in your life that you have been hesitant to offer to God?

Prayer

Father, I give You what I have. It may not seem like much to me, but I know You can use anything surrendered to You. Make me willing, obedient, and available. Amen.

Action

Do one small act of service today—send an encouraging message, pray with someone, give, help, or invite someone to church.
