Scripture Reading: Philippians 2:6-7 (KJV)
“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:”

Devotional
Jesus had every right to be honored, served, and worshipped. He is God. Yet He chose humility. He made Himself of no reputation and took on the form of a servant.

This is the opposite of the world’s attitude. The world says, “Promote yourself. Defend yourself. Make sure people notice you.” Jesus shows us another way. He humbled Himself to serve others and glorify the Father.

A Christlike attitude is not about thinking badly of yourself. It is about not making everything about yourself. Humility turns our attention toward God and toward the needs of others.

If Jesus, the King of glory, chose the place of a servant, then His followers must be willing to serve too.

Prayer
Father, forgive me for the times I have made life about myself. Give me a humble heart like Jesus. Help me serve without needing attention, praise, or reward. Let my life point others to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Action
Find one practical way to serve someone today without expecting recognition.
