Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

Devotional
Every Christian is an ambassador for Christ. That means your life represents Him. Your attitude, words, actions, love, forgiveness, and faithfulness are all part of your witness.

This is a serious calling. People are watching. Some may form their view of Christianity by what they see in us. That should humble us and drive us to depend on Jesus more deeply.

An ambassador does not represent himself. He represents another. As believers, we do not live to make ourselves known. We live to make Christ known. Our message is not, “Look at me.” Our message is, “Be reconciled to God.”

The world does not need to see more pride, bitterness, laziness, hypocrisy, or selfishness from the church. The world needs to see Jesus shining through His people.

Reflection
If someone judged Christ by your attitude and actions, what would they see?

Prayer
Jesus, help me represent You well. Let Your light shine through me. Forgive me for the times my life has not reflected Your love and truth. Make me a faithful ambassador who points others to salvation in You. In Your name, amen.

Action
Pray for one person who needs Christ. Then look for one way to show them the love, humility, and truth of Jesus this week.
