Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Devotional
The world is always trying to shape your thinking. It wants to teach you what to value, what to chase, what to fear, and how to respond. But God calls His people not to be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of the mind.

This renewal does not happen by accident. We must daily bring our thoughts under the authority of God’s Word. We must choose not to run back to old habits, old attitudes, old bitterness, or old ways of handling life.

Circumstances do not have to control your attitude. People do not have to control your spirit. Satan does not have to control your thoughts. In Christ, you can choose faith over fear, gratitude over complaining, forgiveness over bitterness, and obedience over comfort.

Reflection
Are you being shaped more by the world or by the Word of God?

Prayer
Lord, renew my mind. Help me not to be squeezed into the mold of this world. Teach me to think according to Your Word. Give me discernment to recognize wrong thoughts and strength to replace them with truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Action
Write down one worldly thought you have struggled with. Beside it, write a biblical truth that answers it.
